World Heritage Weekend, This Weekend, 16th-17th April!

Roll up! Roll up! Its World Heritage Weekend this weekend in Saltaire! Tell your neighbours! Tell your friends!

A variety of local community groups have come together to organise a huge variety of heritage-inspired activities for you, the general public. There’s going to be loads of different activities on offer throughout Saltaire – and plenty to see and do around the canal, Park, tramway and Shipley Glen, and best of all there’s no entry charge.

Just in the park alone there will be five separate events over the weekend – including Alpacas, a chainsaw woodcarver and a display of traditional clog dancing, and Children’s craft activities. There will also be the chance to play croquet – a traditional Victorian game that has had a renaissance in the park as of late.

For more information you can check out the full event programme here.
